#1 Player remaining in the tournament

The number one overall player left in the NCAA tournament is Jalen Brunson. Brunson is a point guard who plays for Villanova, who is one of the two #1 seeds left in the tournament. Brunson is the #1 player remaining in the tournament because has delivered multiple 30-point games this season, and is also good at passing and directing for the wildcats as a Junior guard. Not only does Brunson provide a tremendous amount of heart, skill, and leadership for Villanova, but he has a lot of tournament experience. Brunson was part of the 2016 Villanova Wildcats when they beat North Carolina by a buzzer beater in the National Championship.

#2 Player remaining in the tournament.

The number two player remaining in the NCAA tournament is Devonte’ Graham. Graham is the senior point guard for the Kansas Jayhawks. Devonte’ Graham is the #2 player left in the tournament because he is an elite shooter and a great leader. He led the Jayhawks to a Big 12 championship, and earned Big 12 player of the year. Graham was also awarded with first team All-American. Graham has led the Jayhawks to successful seasons, but he has yet reached a Final Four. This is the year to do it since there have been multiple huge upsets throughout the tourney.

#3 Player remaining in the tournament.

The number three player remaining in the NCAA tournament is Marvin Bagley. Bagley is a freshman power forward from Duke. Bagley can be a scoring machine when given the ball in the post. Bagley is very good around the lane, or close to the goal. Not only is he a good post player he can also take defenders out and fire threes. Early in February he showed this when they took down Joel Berry and North Carolina.

#4 Player remaining in the tournament.

The number four player remaining in the NCAA tournament is Jevon carter from “Press” Virginia, or better known West Virginia. Carter is a senior guard who is relied on to do a huge amount for the Mountaineers. Carter was ranked highly because he is the best on ball defender in Division one basketball. He is disruptive and aggressive when playing defense. He has turned himself into an elite playmaker. He increased his assist per game by 3 each game this season, and he stills plays the same amount of minutes. The Mountaineers fell short last year, but they are ready to redeem themselves this year as they play the Villanova Wildcats at the Sweet Sixteen.

#5 Player remaining in the tournament.

The fifth best player left in the NCAA tournament is Mikal Bridges from the Villanova Wildcats. Bridges is a junior just like his teammate Jalen Brunson. Bridges is so talented that he is named best player on Villanova, and Brunson is named best player in the country. Bridges is a very good three-point shooter, and he doubled his made threes from last season. He made forty-four last season, and he made 88 this season so far… After Josh Hart left last season. Bridges picked up his responsibility.
